Who We Are
Playomic UG was established in Hamburg on October 2010 by two handsome chaps in order to fill a niche – games for funny, clever and attractive adults. But seriously, we believe that adults are poorly served by the games industry, as the majority of its output requires too much time, effort, and is simply not interesting or particularly relevant to many adults. We strongly believe that the problem is not the computer games medium itself, but rather the game industry’s inability to understand and serve this niche.
Jonathan Lindsay: Co-founder

Creating games since 2004, Jonathan Lindsay is a graduate of the University of Abertay and a Dare to be Digital alumni. He is an experienced designer of massively multiplayer games and was a speaker at the Brighton Develop Conference in 2009 where he gave a talk entitled – Browser Based Games: The Past, The Present and The Future.
Jonathan’s responsibilities at Playomic include game design and day- to-day business operations.
Philip Lehmann-Böhm: Co-founder

Philip Lehmann-Böhm is a graduate of the prestigious Wedel technology school and as an experienced game industry programmer, has contributed in multiple areas: game logic, graphics programming, facebook integration and statistics gathering and analysis.
In 2009, he presented a paper about 3D rendering of terrains at the 6th Workshop “Virtual and Augmented Reality” of the “Society for Computer Science”.
He’s responsible for the technical side of the games, including implementation and administration.
Olga Abt: Artist

Olga Abt first studied screen design, but then after finishing her education in this, discover her love for 3D art. Olga is now in her final semester at Hamburg Technical Art School with her focus on 3D.
Olga is currently working at Playomic as a preferred freelancer and is responsible for interface and 3D Graphics.
Nadine Schäkel: Artist

After her graduation of secondary school she joined the HTK in Hamburg – a private university for graphic artists.
She’s familiar with a bunch of programmes for vector graphics, animations,3D animation/modelling, photo manipulating/matte painting, designing magazines, but her focus is illustration, comic and concept art.
As a freelancer artists, she worked for Playomic to draw all in-game paintings and the logo of Greedion.
